I received this this morning and was amazed at the audacity a professional would show in his blatant discrimination and prejudice against myself.

I think it definitely explains why my case has been going nowhere and their attitude.

I think he forgot about this:

Amendment I

Freedoms, Petitions, Assembly

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The First Amendment guarantees freedom of religion in two clauses — the “establishment” clause, which prohibits the government from establishing an official church, and the “free exercise” clause that allows people to worship as they please.

First Amendment Rights

It has been an absolutely amazing day. I am shocked at the prejudice that remains today against those that are not Christian. I have never hid it, in either dependency and it boggles my mind that in today’s age there is still such views and this type of behavior is allowed.

It is clear what foster parents are supposed to do when it comes to religious beliefs in this state and placement violated it. Along with the department and the GAL in the last dependency and this shelter care.

I did not know I had a say in what her religious upbringing was last time but I do now and I am exercising it. To them it is a “religion card” and that is just unacceptable coming from the professionals that have custody of my child.

There were a lot of things that went on last time that I was not happy about but I wanted her home so I did not rock the boat with placement and just went along with it. Now that I have addressed those issues with my daughter and reversed some of that negative impact it had on her self confidence. I am voicing that I do not want her a part of it, nor exposed to it, and they still are allowing it.

Her confidence has gone down the drain again and she is saying she is a bad girl again. Everything those good christians preach in church. But it is my fault because of the dependency not what she is being taught in that household…this is so infuriating.
